Izzit new? i'm not sure.. tasted once at Tyrone's house.. I like it so much.. full bottle, big slice, more potato taste and less salt.. yum~yum~!! now selling at RM2.75 at Tesco Extra.. hehe.. and finally King's bakery is opened in Penang!! do check out the Portugese Tart (RM1) there, very nice!!!

Went to this seafood restaurant twice in 8days.. haha..

1st time, brought by buddy gang, only i knew got such place in B'w.. hehe.. outdated :"> :">

2nd time, i feasted ahlik n akui for... for... i also dunno for what.. for akui's convo? for welcome him to work in pg? for thanking ahlik?.. whatever la, as long as enjoy ;p;p

We ordered 7 types of food.. range from RM6-RM24, total RM73.80.. it's slightly cheaper than Tambun's.. about the taste, as Tambun's had dissapointed me for few times, i rather eat here than go so far for seafood.. besides, i think the taste here really not bad~!!

With nice scene of whole Penang island.. windy environment.. variety choices of food.. reasonable price.. So.. no need to go till Tambun that far already!! Enjoy nice seafood in B'w~~ ^^

Restoran kolam Ikan 鱼塘小食馆

I knew this through at TV show 阿贤人情味 because my mom is its big fans!! We followed all 13 episods of the season.. the host is 杨佳贤.. he is quite famous after few shows (贤途有你 and 星语触动)... He introduced some good food at few places nearby, Penang/Bk. Mertajam/Kulim, so i brought my mom to check them out...

The 1st one we went is this "fish lake" restaurant.. it's located at Sg. Kob near Kulim Hightech Industrial Zone.. before departing, i called to make reservation, but the person said that's not necessary and they prefer to practise '1st come 1st serve' basis.. okay, so, with 小舅 and 四姨 families.. we started to explore.. no one know the location actually ;p;p;p

After 30mins, we saw the small small signboard at roadside and turned into the small small lorong.. it's about 1km lorong without tar.. it's kinda old-kampung-feel when go further inside.. wondering if the signboard pointing correct direction.. haha...

While approaching the restaurant, started to see alot of big car small car and most of them are expensive car.. wow~ so famous meh??!! Or it becomes famous after 阿贤's introduction??.. Or becaus ethat day is holiday (Labour's day)??.. haha.. coz i dun believe so ulu also got so many ppl know it.. although my dad n some frens said this restaurant established very long time ago before 阿贤 introduced it... hmmm.... degil ;p;p;p

We're so lucky and got a place to park near the entrance.. there was 2 small signboards again, one is restaurant's info and another one is a warning board (check out the picture) wrote: awas anjing, dilarang masuk, 7ptg- 7pagi. COOL~!! got time summore, geng!! soon, we found out why.. there are alot of dogs inside that area guarding the fish ponds at night.. they looked so lazy and laid on ground and no-hiew customer at all.. but the owner said they will turn very fierce at night.. ahha, really well trained!!

It was so crowded that day and i met my colleague, Jesmond, and his family there.. 7 of us (+ 2 babies) stood for 45mins only have table for us.. in my heart, i was kinda unhappy, coz i intended to do reservation at 1st.. there is only 13 tables for customers... ok, fine, started to order dishes.. now i know why it's so special... they only have fish!!! few types of fish with various type of cooking method.. and they only have one type of vegetable, as well as drink... walao...

While waiting for the dishes to be served, we were not free or bored.. becoz we were well entertained by flies!!! there is so much flies!!! although pyng told me this, but it's more that i can imagine.. luckily 小舅 smart, he brought the 白风油 and applied on table.. the spicy smell successfully scared those 猖狂的 flies..

Again, we waited for 40mins.. so hungry.. we ordered 3 fish, 1 was fried with Thai source, 1 was fried with homemade source, and 1 was steam with soya source (half fish bute most expensive, RM44 if i'm not mistaken).. all three were so fresh and nice.. even my cousin who never eat fish for his passed 11years also 'swallow' tthem happily.. miracle!! We cleared the plates in 10mins.. walao.. waited 85mins just for 10mins.. why so fast?? becoz.. (1) we're really hungry. (2) others were really hungry, stand around us and look at us!!

Overall, it's tasty and worth the price (fried fish, coz it's really big big fish).. but don't go during holiday and don't forget to bring 白风油 along for stopping the 'flies attack' ;p;p;p

Hawker Food at Gurney Drive (11.5.07)

1st night-outing for me & Brenda (went for nite movie with Irene for few times d..).. planned it months ago, finally we made it.. our main objectives were eat & shopping ;p;p;p

It's Friday~, after work, we went to Gurney directly.. still early for dinner (6pm+).. So, we checked out skincare + cosmetic at Parkson (Gurney Plaza).. i had a makeover at Bobbi Brown counter and got myself an espresso colour's gel eye-liner :D

Walked till hungry, then off to the hawker area.. We wanted to order whole table of food and eat like crazyyyyy... laksa, fried oyster with egg, fried koay-teow, rojak, loh-bak n soya.. too bad no guys join us, else can order more... ahha.. we ate until so so full...

Next destination was night market at Batu Feringgi~!! We wanted to hunt some bags (handbag, sling bag, purse..... all kind of bags) and accessories... But we left there empty handed becoz those bags all printed with BIG BIG LV (and other branded ones...).. so cheapskate.. not like old days, there are very few stalls left and i couldnt find a pretty and plain one... or should say i couldnt find one bag which is not "branded" one.. ;p;p;p

By the time we finished our night walk at the "philipino" market, it's already 11pm+.. and we were so tired therefore we decided to ffk Jason who waited us in pub.. haha.. pai se la Jason ;p;p;p

Girls, i miss the fun of eating like crazy.. hope that we can go again and ask more guys along (so we can order more..haha).. ^^

HP & the Deathly Hallows

Finally.. Eventually.. Lastly..
JK Rowling had came out with the final chapter.. we can reads the news from all types of media about it.. many fans lined up in front of bookstores the day before it released (worldwide?).. geng!! also, some hipermarkets selling it at much lower price did started the war btw them and bookstores.. those who ordered in pre-sale really kek hei to spend extra RM40 on it.. anyway, don't be dissapointed, at least you got the goodies bag with a shirt inside, right? ;p;p;p

My cousin sister, Suejan, bought in pre-sale as well.. we went for the show of "harry potter and the order of phoenix" before collecting this 'historical' book (it going to be a history.. ;p).. i dunno how you guys think, but i like the show, it's great!! the director and editor done a very good job~, all the important details were covered and presented accordingly.. u'll understand what i said if you're a hp's fans (provided u read the book as well)..

While waiting Suejan to collect it from Popular, Vic, Jason and I were discussing bout the movie just now.. then, once we got the book, guess what we did?.. we turned to the last page to read the ending.. wahahhaa... (fren, stop here if u havent read the book...)..

The last 2 sentences are... "The scar had not pained Harry for nineteen years. All was well."..

Hagrid is dead.. haih... there is a dialogue of Harry and Albus.. so i guess they're survive till the end.. unless the scene of the conversation is in the heaven ;p;p;p... and Suejan said Hermoine and Ron also not dead (coz i was driving.. not sure izzit true ;p;p).. sounds happy ending ^^.. will read it myself after i finish the "hp & the half blood prince".. ya, i hvnt read yet.. haha.. outdated already :"> :">

After all these years of "hp's fever".. Hope all hp's fans enjoy the wonderful ending of the tale la~!!

My 1st nephew

Finally, I met him before he turns 1 year-old.. my 1st nephew in Cheah’s family.. ahha.. his name is 宗翰.. man?? Haha.. he looks exactly like his father (of coz when his father was a baby).. ^^

He is so cute.. keep smiling, no cry no naughty… and he let me carry him around.. u know, most of kids scared me one, dunno why… ;p;p;p

Also, he is so so sensitive to camera~.. each time I took out my hp, his eye will get focus automatically.. ahha.. potential model in future.. so chu-bii~~

Han han, faster grow up and call me ah-zhen gu-gu, ok?? Dun call er-gu, I dunlike, haha.. jia-you jia-you 快高长大!!

Went for Die Hard 4 with Kelvin.. had our lunch at A&W gurney.. the nuggets not bad, fried with sesame one… didn’t take picture of that..
About the show, I like F35.. hahahaa…
After the show, we were hungry.. “what u wanna eat?” “anything that I never try before”.. this already is my standard answer to everyone.. haha.. after some discussion.. “then we go one shop that I used to go la…eat curry rice, u ok?” “I’m ok”.. in my heart, I was wondering is that curry rice so special?? Can attract him to take spicy food??? (fyi, he rarely will take spicy food)… heading to Bayan Baru…
To my surprise, he did it.. met my requirement of new food.. why?.. maybe u will think I’m kampung, but I really never try this before.. banana leaf curry rice~!! ;p;p;p
1st, they gave us one big big banana leaf.. then gave a lot of rice.. after that, put 3 types of vege on the leaf.. and 2 big big keropok ( I dunno wat it call).. smell really good~~..!! we can ask for kuah (curry) and soup (something like asam-curry, sour + hot one)..
I was so excited and eat a lot, coz the vege can refill one.. haha.. although it’s nearly 1045pm, I still eat a lot of rice.. coz it’s delicious.. and spicy too… ;p;p;p
I’m not so sure how much is that.. but I guess is around RM3 only.. I will go again.. coz really nice.. it open till 11pm daily.. few shop away from Jalan Tengah Maybank.. a mamak at middle of shop houses.. not corner one (pelita / kassim)… check it out la~ ;)

Again, tumpang at ahlik house.. ahha.. my 2nd home in pg.. I forgot we sleep till wat time.. I knew it’s raining.. but, still we went out hunt for brunch..

Ended up, we got on car only think wat to eat.. simply turn.. hmm.. like very long never visit the hakka mee shop.. but this shop very cool one, suka suka open, suka suka close.. so we just tried our luck la..
Lucky, it’s open… ordered as usual, dried hakka mee and yong tau fu soup… I like the taste, abit like Taiwan’s luu-rou-fan (pork rice).. and they use big fat tauge (beansprout), very tasty… also, the soup is nice coz not too salty like other hawker’s foodstall…
the fu-zok-yi-mai drink is special here.. why? Coz they blend it until so fine and u cant see a single fu-zok or yi-mai.. haha.. taste so-so only..
the shop is located at Taman Sri Nibong, hmm.. shop houses at another exit of Taman.. near the fly-over heading to Queensbay mall.. now they expended to 2 shops already, not hard to find.. ;)

Went to eat dim-sum with uncle, aunty and cousin at PG.. forgot which jalan.. anyhow it’s a big shop.. variety still ok.. taste also normal..

Went to Dragon-I Pg (http://www.dragon-i.com.my/index.htm) with colleagues, it’s a tape-out celebration.. boss very funny, all I “simply say”, he also “simply order”.. consequently, we over-budget.. 8ppl eat RM300++ ;p;p
Food there really so-so, but it’s bit over-priced.. since it’s free, so I enjoy it~ hahaha..
The seafood ramen, really dunno how it taste like n it cost RM18… think spicy beef ramen nicer..
The chili fried chicken (gong-bao ji-ding) turned out to be chicken fried chili…
The sweet & sour fish just ok looo….
The dessert, just like SS2 mango shake, also cost RM10… but it’s nice la…
We did ordered some other food, but I didn’t get to take photos coz I busy eating.. got dong-bo meat, xiao long bao, baked rice and some other dim-sum.. total 12 types..

Went for my favourite ban min at serdang raya tyre shop!!! The soup still clear, tasty.. noodles are QQ.. red bean soup are nice.. just the kl style chee-cheong-fan bit lousy… and never forget, the dried chili!!!! The spicy taste last for hours~!!!! (p/s: this pic doesn’t look nice anyway, hahaha~)
