牵手
常言道：“兄弟如手足”。然而，在方言相通，风俗相似的闽南台湾，相当多的人向来宾介绍自己的配偶，习惯称之“牵手”，甚至未婚情人也不例外。
据说闽南的“牵手”这一独特的称谓是从台湾传进的。以往，不少回大陆探亲旅游的台胞听到许多大陆老夫老妻互称对方为“爱人”，有的感到好笑，有的大惑不解，心里自问：“难道这些老人还在谈情说爱吗？”在台湾，只有恋爱的男女才互称“牵手”。如称别人的妻子就说“你牵手的”，介绍自己的妻子时则说“我牵手的”。的确，同甘共苦的恩爱夫妻是不但心连着心，而且是手牵着手的。
说起“牵手”称谓，源于台湾高山族平埔人的平埔话。平埔人原是“母系”家庭制度，按古俗嫁娶大都由男女青年自己挑选，自由结合。当女孩长大后，父母就给她建一间房子，让她单独居住。到了适婚年龄的姑娘更加注重梳妆打扮，穿上引人注目的漂亮衣裙去“旅游相亲”。如果男青年相中这位意中人，就采撷芍药、玉兰等有婚恋象征意义的花束赠献给姑娘，姑娘如果也看上他，就迎他入房间同居，待到身怀六甲之后就手牵着男人的手去拜见双亲，请求承认。因此，把结成夫妻称为“牵手”。
台湾《凤山县志》中有这样一段记载：“（高山族）男女于山间弹嘴琴鼻箫，歌唱相和意相投，各以佩物相赠，乃告其父母……名曰‘牵手’”。高山族人也把“牵手”当作结婚的代名词，倘遇日后感情破裂离了婚，则习称“放手”。对此，台湾《番社采风图考》中有载：高山族男女成婚曰牵手，如后反目，许相离异，名为放手。1850年，刘家谋的《台湾竹枝词》中写道：“手牵手放寻常事。”清代时，官方文件也有使用“牵手”一词的例子。如乾隆二年（公元1737年），巡台御史白起图的奏折中就有“嗣后汉人不得擅娶番妇亦不得牵手汉民”之语，我们从中可看出清====对高族同胞的岐视。

扇子不能。扇子用於夏季扇凉，一到秋天，便是“秋扇见弃”了。台湾民间有俗语：“送扇，不相见。”基於此种心理，扇子亦不可做“带夥手”。
刀剪不能。刀剪会伤人，更易使人想到“一刀两断”、“一剪两断”，做“带夥手”万万不可。

四年一次的今天。。 在这值得小小纪念一下的日子。。我-病-了！！
病蛮多天了。。 吃了些药。。但。。。
自从 2/10/2007 开工以来， 今天是我最坏的一天。。
比闹钟起得早但还是迟到一小时。。嘿嘿。。下雨嘛~
在办公室吃早餐吃了15分钟。。摇脚摇了15分钟。。
终于甘愿开始工作。。但还是 physically 缺席每个月最重要的QR。。只是听 conf call。。
还没来得及听我有份参与的 project presentation。。十二点就到了。。 得准时去吃午餐。。
并到 sunshine square 小逛了一下。。 更过分的是。。 忘了关上接入 QR 的 conf call。。可怜的座机。。
中午， 心不甘， 情不愿的乱乱工作。。 然后, 脸黑黑。。乱乱讲话。。
平时那少少的耐性也没了。。 对那没用脑讲话的老女子回了嘴 （要知道我在办公室可是很客气的。。）。。
到了四点半。。 开始收拾桌子和包包了。。然后就 “拜拜啦”。。
五点整。。 我成功挤上大桥了。。边驾车边讲电话。。 好久没那么做了。。 好爽！！
最爱在大桥上讲电话了！！ 因为我的耳机坏了。。 而大桥上没有警察抓。。 哈哈！！
到家了。。 吓到了老爸老妈。。 这是我加入富士康以来最早放工回家的一次。。
天天做到十， 十一点。。 然后就住在槟岛。。 但今天还比他们早到厨房吃饭咧。。 哈哈！！
妈妈很开心。。 还跟我说姐姐在台湾买的手霜很好用。。 你们谁还会去台湾？ 帮我买多一点~
很得空的在厨房一边讲电话一边准备明天 apartment stay 的果冻。。
很久没亲自动手煮东西了 （快熟面除外。。）。。还好手脚依然 okay。。 希望不难吃 ;p
还是很得空。。 就和姐姐弟弟们 chatting 。。 对了， 家里好闷。。 姐姐又去狮城工作了。。
大姐，没骗你的。。 有想念你在家的日子。。 至少房间是干净的。。 哈哈。。 祝你钱程似锦！！
再看看我以前在 friendster 的 blog。。 自恋狂。。 发现很久没 post 华语版的 blog 了。。
又好像很久没 update 下这儿了。。 各位， 请原谅我吧。。 我也想让这里好好睇睇的。。

上帝把兩群羊放在草原上，一群在南，一群在北。
上帝還給羊群找了兩種天敵，一種是獅子，一種是狼。
上帝對羊群說:「如果你們要狼，就給一隻，任它隨意咬你們。 如果你們要獅子，就給兩頭，你們可以在兩頭獅子中任選一頭 ，還可以隨時更換。」
這道題的問題就是：如果你也在羊群中，你是選狼還是選獅子？ 很容易做出選擇吧？ 好吧，記住你的選擇，接著往下看。
南邊那群羊想,獅子比狼兇猛得多, 還是要狼吧。於是,它們就要了一隻狼。 北邊那群羊想，獅子雖然比狼兇猛得多，但我們有選擇權 ，還是要獅子吧。 於是，它們就要了兩頭獅子。
那隻狼進了南邊的羊群後，就開始吃羊。 狼身體小，食量也小，一隻羊夠它吃幾天了。 這樣羊群幾天才被追殺一次。
北邊那群羊挑選了一頭獅子，另一頭則留在上帝那裡。 這頭獅子進入羊群後, 也開始吃羊。獅子不但比狼兇猛，而且食量驚人，每天都要吃一隻羊。 這樣羊群就天天都要被追殺，驚恐萬狀。 羊群趕緊請上帝換一頭獅子。 不料，上帝保管的那頭獅子一直沒有吃東西，正飢餓難耐 ，它撲進羊群，比前面那頭獅子咬得更瘋狂。 羊群一天到晚只是逃命，連草都快吃不成了。
南邊的羊群慶幸自己選對了天敵，又嘲笑北邊的羊群沒有眼光。 北邊的羊群非常後悔，向上帝大倒 苦水,要求更換天敵，改要一隻狼。
上帝說：「天敵一旦確定，就不能更改,必須世代相隨,你們唯一的權利是在兩頭獅子中選擇。」 北邊的羊群只好把兩頭獅子不斷更換。 可兩頭獅子同樣凶殘，換哪一頭都比南邊的羊群悲慘得多， 它們索性不換了， 讓一頭獅子吃得膘肥體壯，另一頭獅子則餓得精瘦。 眼看那頭瘦獅子快要餓死了，羊群才請上帝換一頭。
這頭瘦獅子經過長時間的飢餓後，慢慢悟出了一個道理: 自己雖然兇猛異常，一百隻羊都不是對手，可是自己的命運是操縱在羊 群手裡的。 羊群隨時可以把自己送回上帝那裡，讓自己飽受飢餓的煎熬 ，甚至有可能餓死。 想通這個道理後，瘦獅子就對羊群特別客氣，只吃死羊和病羊 ，凡是健康的羊它都不吃了。 羊群喜出望外，有幾隻小羊提議乾脆固定要瘦獅子，不要那頭肥獅子了 。
一隻老公羊提醒說:「瘦獅子是怕我們送它回上帝那裡挨餓，才對我們這麼好。 萬一肥獅子餓死了，我們沒有了選擇的餘地，瘦獅子很快就會恢復凶殘 的本性。」 羊群覺得老羊說得有理,為了不讓另一頭獅子餓死 ,它們趕緊把它換回來。
原先膘肥體壯的那頭獅子，已經餓得只剩下皮包骨頭了 ，並且也懂得了自己的命運是操縱在羊群手裡的道理。 為了能在草原上待久一點，它竟百般討好起羊群來。而那頭被送交給上 帝的獅子，則難過得流下了眼淚。 北邊的羊群在經歷了重重磨難後,終於過上了自由自在的生活。
南邊的那群羊的處境卻越來越悲慘了，那隻狼因為沒有競爭對手 ，羊群又無法更換它， 它就胡作非為，每天都要咬死幾十隻羊，這隻狼早已不吃羊肉了 ，它只喝羊心裡的血。 它還不准羊叫，哪只叫就立刻咬死哪只。南邊的羊群只能在心中哀歎:「早知道這樣，還不如要兩頭獅子。」
這是一道非常簡單的選擇題，領悟到了嗎？ 握有決定權的才有生機，否則只有任人宰割 的份了。

這頭瘦獅子經過長時間的飢餓後，慢慢悟出了一個道理: 自己雖然兇猛異常，一百隻羊都不是對手，可是自己的命運是操縱在羊 群手裡的。 羊群隨時可以把自己送回上帝那裡，讓自己飽受飢餓的煎熬 ，甚至有可能餓死。 想通這個道理後，瘦獅子就對羊群特別客氣，只吃死羊和病羊 ，凡是健康的羊它都不吃了。 羊群喜出望外，有幾隻小羊提議乾脆固定要瘦獅子，不要那頭肥獅子了 。

原先膘肥體壯的那頭獅子，已經餓得只剩下皮包骨頭了 ，並且也懂得了自己的命運是操縱在羊群手裡的道理。 為了能在草原上待久一點，它竟百般討好起羊群來。而那頭被送交給上 帝的獅子，則難過得流下了眼淚。 北邊的羊群在經歷了重重磨難後,終於過上了自由自在的生活。

Penang Hill
Finally.. after 4..5..6..7.. dunno how many weeks.. workload started to reduce ABIT.. so, I can start my lepak plan~ ;p
The very first place I went is Penang hill~.. well, went N times in these years, but still havent been there in 2008 ma~ ;p;p
Since Jim is visiting Penang, I have a good reason to go up hill again.. This is the 1st time i went there in evening/nite.. and JUST got to know that can have steamboat up there!!!
The tram of 630pm had been postponed to 645pm.. so we got no choice but wait... and found another thing is the last tram service from upper station is extended to 1115pm.. for Saturday only.. cool~, another good place for ppl to paktor.. :))
The ticket costs RM4/head for round trip.. and there is a break at the middle of the hill.. and washrooms too.. few months didnt go already got these changes, not bad..
It is very relaxing to go at this time (~7pm) because the tram is not that pack and hot.. but, if you wanna try the steamboat, please reach the hotel before 8pm.. because we arrived at 8pm and the kitchen just said it's finish.. well, i believed is because the boss wanna go back home edi, lazy prepare for us.. ishh.. so, we just had simple dinner there: tomyam fried rice, curry kapitan, and fried broccoli.. the curry kapitan taste good~ ^^
Then we just blow blow wind, see see scenery.. then back edi.. haha.. That's Pennag hill, nuthing much can do.. Next time! next time i will go up earlier and bring wine + ice.. so that after steamboat can sit there enjoy the scenery until 11pm~ ;p;p

I work 9am til late (9,10,11pm?).. summore back to work on saturday, sunday, even public holiday... U think i want de meh!!! things cannot finish, issues pending on SA radio, test to be completed for this build, follow up for next build.. haih, counterpart's job scope is like that lor.. bao mountain bao sea...

~Merry Xmas~
Ho Ho Ho.. Merry-BELATED-Christmas!!!
How you guys celebrated it??? I had a party at my god-mom's house in Penang..
Caring prepared all the food herself - seafood spaghetti, mushroom soup, smoked salmon, Gammon ham, chocolate muse.. etc. All food and beverage were 'alcohol-ED'.. >:)
Also, she decorated the house by herself (well, i helped very very very little only.. haha).. I'm so impressed on what she did... And she prepared x'mas gifts for everyone although we brought gift for gift-exchange-session~
I met a lot of new friends - Jess (same bday with me!!), Ik Jin, CK & CK, Rollan, Kelly, Winnie etc etc.. we had fun chit-chatting, eating, drinking, gaming, and counting down ^^
The party was started late around 830pm til 230am.. Wei Yong was the one who heat the party up with games as a MC+DJ.. really a great event organiser!! It's really fun~!!
Everyone was so high and drunk.. Jarren and I finished a big bottle of Sparkling-White-Wine after few rounds of beer!!! really been long never enjoy like this.. syok!! ;p;p
3am, the party was over. Caring, Jarren n I went for supper in town then go see-see-moon & blow-blow-wind at seaside near Hillside (on the way to Batu Ferringgi).. crazy!!.. really very very very long didnt do this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so... romantic... for friends~!!!
Then, 630am, the Xmas Hero (coz drove us safely all the way after drinking) sent us home and it's the end of my Xmas celebration.. ^^

深圳- 增磅的原因
Some of you might alwiz heard this phrase: It's very hard to maintain my size, you know?
I am serious, It's very hard, cannot more cannot less (mission impossible for 'less' case) --> because I have very low resistance towards food and you knew that~!!
upper: the biscuit name is QQ-bing (餅), there are many flavours including sweet (red bean； 紅豆沙), sour (vege; 酸菜), salty (green pea; 綠豆沙) and spicy (vege; 辣菜).. i like the 老婆餅 (sweet).. very nice~ ^^
lower: In China, they like porridge very much, you can find porridge stall/restaurant everywhere.. this is the famous Canto's claypot porridge (砂鍋粥).. the pot is full with ingredients (choices: fish, prawn, crab, frog, chicken....) and very delicious~~ one thing, they call la-la/clam (啦啦/蛤蜊) as 花甲, a new name to me..
There are also some special Fast Food in China.. such as noodles and rice!!
upper: noodles king (my direct translation ;p) (麵點王).. there is a long counter and various choices on noodles and dim-sum.. Only noodles also have many different taste such as mushroom, spinach, wheat... their tong-sui sai-mai-lou (西米露) also different from us, served cool with no blended ice.. as well as chee-cheong-fan (served in cold too).. and many types of dim-sum..
lower: this is cool~!! 真功夫 (蒸功夫).. all food prepared by steam.. steam vege, steam rice, steam meat, steam bla bla.. the menu just like what we see in KFC, Mcdy.. It's more similiar to Canto's style, they served soup!! to my surprise, the soup not oily+salty!! very clear nice tasty~~ around RMB22 (RM10.30) per set.. worth it~!!
We also can find those well-known franchise in Long Hua.. especially Taiwan's...
upper: I missed the soybean milk in Taipei, so I was very happy when i found this in nearest shopping mall - Yong-He Dou-Jiang (永和豆漿).. although I prefer another brand's, this is good enough to satisfy me ;p.. Again, we ordered a lot of noodles to try... noodles in China really nice~~
lower right: the shop I went twice and ordered the same thing!! It's Hokkien's food kopitiam named Sha-xian (沙縣小吃).. a kopitiam you can find it everywhere like 7-11 and the kopitiam really small, only have 4 tables.. the food is very cheap, noodles very Q.. for Wantan noodles only RMB3 (RM1.40) and this bigger bowl one is my favourite dumpling noodles (RMB5 = RM2.33).. got 10pcs big dumpling inside, very big!! check out the cute dumpling~, all fold neatly like that..
Another restaurant I missed is Ding-Tai-Feng (鼎泰丰).. and coincidentally I found it in nearest shopping mall too!!! Went with Leejy and we ordered 3 dishes (which I tried in Taipei before).. Xiao-Long-Bao, prawn dumpling and fried rice with egg.. these cost us RMB75 ~RM35(expensive o~).. The fried rice not so good as the rice they using is different from Taiwan's.. theirs is long and thin, Taiwan's is short and round.. overall, I felt that Singapore's DTF nicer and Taipei's DTF nicest (I only tried at 3 places).. ;p
Besides lunch & dinner, I used to have snacks in office with colleagues.. there, we can have a lot of choices on flavour of green-tea and jelly.. I like 康師傅 low sugar honey-green-tea and Jasmine tea.. also, the Black-rice Guo-ba (黑米鍋巴), which looks like double'deckers snacks here, very crunchy and good to munch, taste a bit spicy.. I love it~!!

深圳 - 湘菜
Besides SzeChuan cuisine, Hunan cuisine (Xiang cuisine) is another choice for hot & spicy.. Just it do not have the taste of "Ma" (麻)..
Xiang cuisine cook everything with chilis and ONLY chilis.. all types of chilissss....
I went for it with DouZi, DouZi hubby and Fairy.. I busy took photos and other customers in the restaurant thought I chi-sin one...

深圳 - Mcdy n KFC
Cool to see Germany's Mcdy serve with beers, right?? 
Peach pie from Mcdy~~ nicest among all pie.. for me, the ranking is peach -> pineapple -> banana -> apple.. ;p;p
Salmon Nuggests from KFC~~ not bad, but i prefer the original fish nuggests..
KFC China also has these which here dont have -- BBQ spicy chicken wing and mango tart.. the chicken wing is so so but the tart is nice ^^
I also had some different Mcdy and KFC in China n Taiwan.
Back in 2006, I tried this in Mcdy near Zoo Taipei.. very nice, i love it!!
and in ShenZhen, I had these... purposely WALKed there to try them.. so happy when eating, haha~~
